Welcome to my art porfolio! Thank you so much for taking the time to look through the galleries. Here you will see examples of many of the commissioned paintings I have done in the galleries and also see new artwork that is currently available for purchase. If you have any questions about any of the artwork or are interested in having me create a painting or drawing for you, please send me an email.
I have always really enjoyed painting the human figure - both traditional portraits and expressive representations - as well as old, rusted cars and shiny, restored cars too! Ultimately I just like to paint, enjoy getting caught up in watching something emerge on the canvas - sometimes while listening to music and sometimes in silence. I want to create things people will enjoy and that will brighten their home or office - capture a moment in time, a memory, or create an escape or provoke and inspire thought.
However over the recent years my focus and style has changed. After a series of health challenges that ultimately shifted my perspectives and priorities, I have a newfound passion for health and wellness and the power of nutrition. I am very passionate about eating the real whole foods that God has provided for our bodies which He created. There is so much power and healing in the beautiful and nutritious fruits, vegetables and herbs. It is my desire to educate as many people as possible on the importance of food and how it directly impacts our health and how making healthy lifestyle choices can allow us to have more energy and more fulfilling and healthy lives with reduced frequency of illnesses and ailments.
In an effort to marry the two passions of art and nutrition and health, I wanted to highlight the beauty of these natural whole foods and inspire us to make choices that will enable us to lead the best lives possible. When we feel good, we enjoy life more and can experience more. There is such rich color in the plants found in nature and these beautiful, jewel like hues can enhance office spaces and living spaces with uplifting, cheerful splashes of color for your walls.
“The purpose of art is washing the dust of daily life off our souls.”
